The first annual ReModel Gala is a show and dance party, featuring a bellydance show, displaying costumes made of all recycled and/or reused materials, crafted by local artist contestants and displayed by local dancer-models, hosted by Amethyst of ElectroBelly Dance Troupe, to benefit the Meter Room Studios and Construction Junction.

Some of the featured designers include:
John Ross of the Meter Room Studios; Marcel Walker, comic book illustrator; Bella Bloom, caricature artist;
Beth Steinberg, vintage-style lingerie designer; Phillipe Velasquez, 3D animation artist.

Guest judges are Rosa Colucci, singer and local features writer for the Pittsburgh Post-Gazette.; Leah Shannon, holistic nutritionist;
and Shannon Clover, operations director at Construction Junction.

ReModel Gala will take place on Saturday, March 20, 2010, from 7-11 p.m., at the Meter Room Studios (2637 Chartiers Ave., Pittsburgh, PA 15204). For more information, please call 412-225-3302.
